Is Loveland losing that small town feeling? Our downtown, because of the decisions of the current council majority - Mayor Kathy Bailey, Vice-Mayor Rob Weisgerber, Kent Blair, Ted Phelps, Tim Butler and Neil Oury- has become more of a perpetual party of outdoor drinking and loud music and less about a quaint, quiet, family friendly small town community. Are the changes really what people want?

According to the survey results conducted for the master plan, people overwhelmingly responded that what they liked about Loveland was the bike trail, river, and the quaint, small town, family friendly feel of the community.

On our latest podcast - Loveland has lost that small town feeling - we talk about how the look, feel and enjoyment of our downtown has and continues to be transformed. What is going on now is the jump starting of the master plan recommendations. A plan that has not been discussed, debated or voted on publicly. Yet, this council majority is already committed to spending $700K of taxpayer money for a parcel of land that may or may not be used for a parking garage, it might be a multi level city hall project. TEASER ALERT - what changes will this project bring to our downtown? Join us, won’t you?
