Does the City of Loveland Ohio have rules regarding signage? What committee is responsible for this oversight? According to the city charter the Planning & Zoning Commission is responsible for the planning and regulations covering the municipality, more specifically it is their responsibility to enforce the provisions of the zoning code and interpret the meaning and applications of its provisions.
So why are so many signs that are not in conformance with the zoning regulations in the downtown historic district and Loveland Madeira Rd being approved by the members of the planning and zoning commission? How do all these non-conforming signs affect the decision making of the master planning committee, historical committee and the overall long term look of the city.
